A detailed map of the event site and surrounding roads can be found above. Please read the information below carefully before travelling to the event so that you arrive at the correct entrance and avoid unnecessary delays.
Allow extra travel time
Please allow extra travel time.
Due to the number of guests attending the event, roads around the Great Yorkshire Showground may be busier than usual before and after the concert. We strongly recommend allowing additional travel time and arriving early to ensure a smooth entry to the event.
Follow event signage
Temporary traffic management and event signage will be in place around the venue on the day of the event. Please follow event signage and instructions from stewards rather than relying solely on satellite navigation.
Plan your journey home in advance
At the end of the concert there will be a large number of guests leaving the venue at the same time. If you are planning to use a taxi or private hire vehicle, we recommend booking your journey home in advance and arranging collection from the designated Pavilions of Harrogate pick-up point.
Drop Off
If you are being dropped off by taxi or private vehicle, please turn onto Railway Road from Wetherby Road at the Sainsbury’s / Fodder traffic lights.
Follow Railway Road around the perimeter of the Showground until you reach Blue Gate, which is the primary event entrance. Event staff will direct vehicles to the designated drop-off area.
Once passengers have been dropped off, all vehicles and taxis will be directed to exit the site via Railway Road back onto Wetherby Road.
Parking
Free event parking will be available on site.
To access the car park, please turn onto Railway Road from Wetherby Road at the Sainsbury’s / Fodder traffic lights, then follow Railway Road around the Showground until you reach Blue Gate, where you will be directed into the parking area.
Parking will be located on grass fields adjacent to the venue. A Blue Badge parking section will be available close to the entrance for accessible parking. Please have your Blue Badge clearly displayed if using this area.
At the end of the event, vehicles should exit the car park by following Railway Road back to Wetherby Road, the same route used when arriving.
Car parks will open from 5pm.
Arriving on Foot
The pedestrian entrance to the event is via Hookstone Trail, a footpath located off Hookstone Drive (opposite Oatlands Drive) that runs alongside St John Fisher Catholic High School.
This pathway leads directly to Blue Gate, the main entrance to the event.
When leaving the concert, pedestrians may also exit through the Pavilions of Harrogate onto Wetherby Road. Please note that this route is exit only and cannot be used to enter the event.
Pol Roger VIP Suites Entrance (Suites Only)
Guests attending in Pol Roger VIP Suites should be dropped off or park (or arrive on foot of course) in the Pavillions of Harrogate Car Park, from there a private buggy will take you to your Suite check in.
Pick Up
At the end of the concert, all taxi and private vehicle pick-ups should take place from the Pavillions of Harrogate car park . Drivers should enter via Railway Road (at the Sainsburys traffic lights) and will then be directed to the pick up car park)
Please arrange with your driver to collect you from this location. Pick-ups will not be permitted from the Blue Gate drop-off area.

If arriving by bus, please make your way to Hookstone Trail via Hookstone Drive to access the pedestrian entrance at Blue Gate.
